Redesigned C.Scope.AI — reducing unit size by 42%, cutting cost from ₱14,500 to ₱8,934, achieving an 11.71% detection speedup with 1.5 GB memory savings, and building a local retraining pipeline that improved model generalization by 3.6% AP on unseen data.

About
I'm a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of San Carlos, where I specialized in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Full-Stack Web Development.
My senior thesis — a redesigned automated imaging system for microplastic detection — taught me that the most valuable engineering work lives at the boundary between research-grade precision and real-world deployment constraints. I shipped hardware, software, and a machine learning pipeline as one cohesive system.
My collegiate projects reflect my versatility in software and hardware development, while my recent internship as a Mobile App Developer at Focus Bear sharpened my ability to deliver production-ready code. Notable works include a Power Monitoring System (PIC/ESP32), a full-stack Course Management System (Next.js/Laravel), and a mobile recipe book application (Dart/Firebase).
I'm drawn to problems where engineering judgment matters as much as technical execution — where you have to decide what to build, not just how to build it.

Complete redesign of hardware, software, and ML pipeline. H-Bot XY platform (42% smaller), localized monolithic software architecture (–1.5 GB memory, 11.71% faster), and a 6-stage local retraining pipeline with Optuna HPO — improving model generalization by 3.6% AP on unseen microplastic data.
